Did you know that the youngest bank robber on record in the United States was only 13 years old? Not exactly a good way to start the teenage years. Of course, Laramie Wyoming had no idea he was helping out the men who were robbing the bank that afternoon. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Even so, it got him in a lot of hot water! It just goes to show that kids can get into enough trouble without even trying--why make matters worse by deliberately doing something against the law?
Smart kids know that a life of crime is a life spent behind bars. Stealing is wrong. Period. It's not just stealing from stores that's wrong--stealing from your parents or brothers or sisters or neighbors or classmates is also wrong. Remember, you don't have to rob a bank to be guilty of stealing!
