Another Laramie adventure is on the way!

Even superdogs like Maestro need a bath once in a while! And no, she doesn't have one bright green eye, but it sure looks that way, doesn't it?

Maestro's getting all cleaned up for her new adventure coming out on April 1, 2011! It's called Laramie and the Land of Liberty and it takes place in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. Laramie, Prentiss, and Maestro are chased by bad men who think the boys have the money from the bank robbery back in Wyoming. Learn all about colonial days, back when the Revolutionary War was just getting ready to start, and find out how (and if) the boys and Maestro manage to escape from the bad guys who have chased them all the way across the country!

It's not easy being a dog when you have two boys to protect and bad guys chasing you all over the place. Ask your parents to download Laramie and the Land of Liberty to find out how Maestro helps to save the day!

Best dog in the world!

How much do you know about black labs? Maestro (the real one who lives at home with us) and Maestro, Laramie's best pal, are both nine years old. In fact, they're the same dog! Black labs are known for being very good with kids, friendly, eager to please, and full of energy. They also love to eat! Maestro sounds like a vacuum cleaner when she sniffs something she thinks might be yummy. Even when she's taking a walk, you can hear her vacuuming the path in front of her. Sometimes she even sounds like a helicopter!

Black labs have their health problems, though. They are prone to hip problems and allergies. Maestro has had a hip replacement and is allergic to many things. With exercise and watching what she eats, though, she has a full and happy life. Maestro is the best dog I could ever imagine!

See you along the Quest!

Honesty is always the best policy!

Did you know that the youngest bank robber on record in the United States was only 13 years old? Not exactly a good way to start the teenage years.

Of course, Laramie Wyoming had no idea he was helping out the men who were robbing the bank that afternoon. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Even so, it got him in a lot of hot water! It just goes to show that kids can get into enough trouble without even trying--why make matters worse by deliberately doing something against the law?

Smart kids know that a life of crime is a life spent behind bars. Stealing is wrong. Period. It's not just stealing from stores that's wrong--stealing from your parents or brothers or sisters or neighbors or classmates is also wrong. Remember, you don't have to rob a bank to be guilty of stealing!

Maestro says, "Make me proud. Be honest."
